Exterrior
The design of the 296 Speciale has very clear links with closed-wheel racing Ferraris. The front view leaves no doubt as to the potent performance capabilities and expressiveness of the car. The front bonnet appears more scalloped, a result of the contrasting positive and negative surface effect achieved by paring away volume.
Interrior
A specific door panel was created for this car consisting of a single block of carbon fibre with a minimalist design. The grab handle takes shape as a raised section of a functional zone terminating in a distinctive, clean-cut surface and incorporating the speakers of the Hi-Fi system. The tunnel consists of a structure entirely in carbon fibre, into which the console carrying the controls is set. The most distinctive of these controls is the gear shift gate selector, which draws inspiration from the shifter turret in sports Ferraris of the past.
